Attorney Nicholas D. Williams is proud to call Northern Virginia his home and serve his adopted community. Originally from Arizona, Mr. Williams grew up in a rural community west of Phoenix. He worked his way through undergrad, graduating cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Communication. After nearly a decade in the financial services industry, Mr. Williams turned his talents and ambitions towards the field of law. Relocating his family, Mr. Williams received his law degree from George Mason University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude.
Mr. Williams joined The Morehouse Law Firm in August 2016 and is excited to join work with Ms. Morehouse, his mentor, colleague, and friend. Currently, Mr. Williams serves the community in the areas of Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and represents children as a Guardian ad Litem.
Prior to joining The Morehouse law Firm, Mr. Williams maintained a solo practice in Fairfax, serving all of Northern Virginia. Notably, Mr. Williams was recognized by the judges of the Prince William County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and Guardian ad Litem of the year for 2015. Mr. Williams
Mr. Williams previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Grace O’Brien in Circuit Court of Prince William County. Mr. Williams remains thankful to the Judge for the opportunity she afforded him and congratulates her as she serves all of Virginia in the Court of Appeal.
Upon completion of his clerkship, the Williams family returned to Arizona for a year, where Mr. Williams practiced as a Deputy Public Defender in Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona. As a Deputy Public Defender, Mr. Williams represented clients in a variety of felony matters.
Prior to starting his legal career, Mr. Williams maintained a successful financial planning practice providing investment and insurance solutions to small business owners, working families, and retirees. As a financial planner Mr. Williams addressed a variety of financial needs for clients in various stages of their careers and lives. Mr. Williams brings this array of experience with him in working with his clients to address their current planning challenges.
